Chapter 127 Ash Attribute

Raydon looked into the eyes of the zombie who was speaking to him and, after a brief pause, expressed his appreciation.

\'\'Many thanks for allowing me to enter this inheritance.  \'\'

Raydon had just identified the item used by the zombie, and he was now aware of his exact location. His prior understanding of inheritances and the details he discovered in Herman\'s books led him to believe that this was a dimension where a powerful item holder created his legacy and name to pass on to subsequent generations.

In general, items that opened the door to these inheritances could be found inside rifts. The item used by the zombie should also have come from one of the rifts that opened to other fallen worlds at different times in this world.

When powerful item holders knew their world was ending or they were about to die, they often sealed off a small portion of their dimensional storages in order to preserve a remnant of their possessions and the knowledge they had gained over the course of their lives.

Although the inheritance dimension Raydon was in was only F-Rank, he knew without a doubt that whoever had left it had been an extremely powerful item holder. But no matter how powerful the item holders were, they couldn\'t seal and leave all of their dimensional storage behind, and the inheritance they left behind may also deteriorate over time, causing it to fall in rank.

\'\'Are you still mocking me?\'\' When the zombie saw Raydon sincerely thanking him, he realized he was still taunting him.

pàпdá-ňᴏνêι.сóМ Even though Raydon was still teasing the zombie, he wasn\'t entirely fake when he expressed gratitude. After all, he had been given the opportunity of a lifetime, and he eagerly accepted it.

\'\'Yes, fine, whatever. So, what exactly do we have to do to get our hands on this inheritance? It appears that you have attempted to use this inheritance before, but failed to complete it. \'\' Raydon said with a shrug.

After the inheritance item was used and the inheritance was successfully completed by obtaining all the items, the inheritance key would disappear. Additionally, if it failed, the user would have to wait a certain amount of time before using the item and reentering the inheritance again.

\'\'You just need to defeat the swarms of mobs to get to the next tomb. Also, after numerous attempts, I was only able to reach the first tomb and obtain this body enchantment. Don\'t even think about reaching the second tomb in three hours. Wait… Why am I telling you this? I will kill you anyway. \'\' The Zombie started to explain, getting distracted for a second by Raydon\'s chill attitude.

\'That\'s the first tomb, I guess; I have no idea how many mobs there are. \' Raydon surveyed his surroundings thoughtfully. He couldn\'t see any mobs nearby because they hadn\'t yet started moving from where they were, but when he turned to look in the direction the zombie was pointing, he could make out a ruined black tomb.

\'\'In any case, I\'m not here to take the inheritance test this time. Just die. \'\' Finally, remembering what he used this item for, the zombie yelled and lunged at Raydon, but was stunned by the system message he heard.

[An incompatible element has been detected.]

[The dimension is incapable of accommodating the detected unknown element.]

[Time and space are altering to make up for incompatibility.]

[Adaptation to the unknown element has been completed.]

[Time until inheritance ends: 71:59:59]

\'\'What the…!!! \'\'

The zombie screamed in shock as he observed the successive system messages.

\'\'What the fuck attribute do you possess? \'\' Since it was not his first visit, he assumed Raydon was the cause, so he turned to him in surprise and questioned.

He knew that generally, people with certain elements could not enter certain inheritances. For instance, a fire element item holder could not inherit a water element inheritance because he has an anti-element and the inheritance would reject that item holder in order to maintain the stability of the dimension.

However, this is the first time he has ever witnessed an inheritance dimension adapting to the element of an item holder. Also, as if that weren\'t enough, it altered the time concept to adapt, increasing the inheritance period from three hours to three days.

Raydon was similarly perplexed as Zombie questioned the situation in bewilderment.

\'What in the world is this? What kind of attribute is this ash? \'

Raydon was aware that this inheritance belonged to a death element item holder. He was also aware that his ash attribute was associated with death, but system messages had persuaded him that his ash attribute was not so ordinary after all.

\'\'Hey, I\'m asking you. What is that attribute you have? It\'s so stinky and uncomfortable. \'\' The zombie enquired out of curiosity even though he could still not stand Raydon\'s odor. No matter how bad the smell, if it was something that would help him, he would want to have it for himself.

"This is not your concern. Also, it appears that we have three days to finish this inheritance. Do you really wish to spend your time fighting with me?  \'\' Raydon asked calmly.

He estimated that the zombie was extremely powerful, but despite his strength, he could only reach the first tomb within three hours. Raydon had no idea how many tombs there were, but he had a good idea that even with the F-Rank inheritance, it would be difficult for just two people to reach the final tomb.

\'\'You mean? \'\' Zombie\'s stupidity didn\'t prevent him from understanding what Raydon was getting at.

\'\'Now that you\'ve brought me here, I should point out that this isn\'t the kind of inheritance that can be finished by just one person. Moreover, as a result of me, we now have three days to finish this inheritance. I don\'t believe you can kill me, and I likely cannot kill you either. Therefore, it is foolish to spend this time fighting. \'\' Raydon spoke calmly and persuasively.

\'\'How do I know that I can\'t kill you? \'\' Raydon\'s aura told the zombie he wasn\'t weak, but he still thought he could kill him because he was unaware of his defense.

\'\'I\'ll then give you a change. Use your most powerful attack on me. \'\' Raydon grinned and opened his arms wide, inviting the zombie to attack him one last time.
