Chapter 31 BANG

\'\'Is there any other way? I\'ll do anything you want, please. \'\' The man held Raydon\'s arm and began to plead. It wasn\'t because he cared too much and couldn\'t sacrifice his friends that he wanted him to ask him to do something else. Knowing that none of them would be willing to die for him was the reason.

Raydon spoke after directing his attention to the other gang members. \'\'You have 10 seconds to make a decision.\'\'

Raydon had given them some time to think it over, but based on the way they all turned their heads away, it was obvious what they had decided.

\'\'You ungrateful bastards. I am your boss. Can\'t you even sacrifice your life for me? \'\' Burly Man began to scream and cry, but it was in vain. None of the words he spoke reached his comrade\'s ears. They acted as if they did not see or hear him.

\'\'Time is up. \'\' As he spoke, Raydon picked up the gun from the ground and held it to Burly Man\'s head.

\'\'If you kill me, my leader will fall after you. You don\'t want this. He is very strong, way stronger than you. \'\'

*BANG*

The man\'s threats were abruptly stopped by the sound of the gunshot.

Raydon let go of the lifeless body of the man and let it fall to the ground. Then he turned coldly to the gang members and said. \'\'You can get the body. And whoever that leader he was talking about, if he has a problem, you can tell him to come and find me. \'\'

As soon as Raydon finished speaking, the men nodded and, without saying a word, quickly grabbed the big man\'s arms and legs and fled.

Raydon looked at his surroundings when he saw the gang members leave. Dan and his brothers, as well as the people, gathered around him, were looking at Raydon.

He turned to Dan and threw the gun at him. \'\' I don\'t need this. \'\'

Dan continued to look at Raydon in shock as the gun flew through the air and struck him in the head.

\'\'Agh\'\'

The pain he felt on his head helped him come to his senses. He said while picking up the gun off the ground. \'\'Are you really an item holder? \'\'

Dan was still in disbelief over what had happened. Who were the item holders? They were deities who walked among ordinary people. They were people of incredible authority and could do things that most people couldn\'t even imagine. He still couldn\'t believe he was speaking to an item holder while standing in this shithole they call home at this very moment.

\'\'Hm? Why are you asking? Is it matter? \'\' As he wiped his face clean of the blood with his hand, Raydon spoke. The scar on his forehead looked like it had already healed.

\'OF COURSE, IT MATTERS. \' Everyone present shouted the same thing in their hearts, but, of course, no sound came from their mouths.

Dan yelled to the people gathered around him after noticing Raydon\'s lack of interest. \'\' Hey y\'all disperse now. You haven\'t seen or heard anything here. \'\'

Everyone who lived in this area was a friend of Dan\'s, and he warned them not to discuss what had just happened here. Of course, they are reluctant to speak, either because they fear the wrath of the item holders or because they know that no one would believe them even if they told what happened.

Everyone gave Raydon one last glance before slowly scurrying away. There were only Dan and his brothers left.

\'\'Rayn, are you okay? \'\' Dan approached the crippled boy and inquired while helping him sit in his wheelchair.

\'\'Don\'t worry, I\'m fine.\'\' Rayn sat in the wheelchair, occasionally looking at Raydon with his purple eyes that matched his purple hair.

\'\'Phil and I were out for a walk around the neighborhood, but I went to the grocery store once and came out to see those scumbags attacking Phil.\'\' Rayn explained what had occurred while looking at the boy with black hair and brown eyes.

\'\'I really thought today was the day I was going to die, b-but.\'\' Rayn glanced at Raydon once more out of the corner of his eye, but he quickly averted his gaze when he realized Raydon was also examining him.

\'\'Hahaha, my new bro is cool, right? He is absurdly strong, right? You should have seen him kick me once and launch me ten meters into the air. He forced Karan to fall to his knees and worship with nothing more than his gaze. \'\' As Fatty Sami laughed, every bit of fat on his body shook.

"This man\'s lack of shame shocks me every time," Karan said, averting his eyes because he was embarrassed and couldn\'t even look at Sami.

\'\'W-W-W-What. Did you f-fight!? Why? And how are you still alive? \'\' Phil hurriedly asked Sami while still clutching his throbbing head.

\'\'E-eh? \'\' Sami hesitated when he heard the question because he was at a loss for words. That, however, didn\'t last long because of his superior bullshitting skills. \'\'Naturally, we didn\'t actually fight. He is our brother. We were merely practicing. \'\'

When Phil heard this, his eyes glistened, and he turned to stare at Raydon as if he were his idol.

\'\'This is enough. Really… \'\' Dan facepalmed and said.

He approached Raydon, who was watching them with interest, and bowed his head before speaking.

\'\' Thank you so much for helping us. We got you in trouble too. \'\' Dan\'s voice was hoarse as he finished his sentence.

\'\'Why would I get in trouble? \'\' Raydon said.

\'\'Isn\'t that going to be a problem for you in the end? This is, if I\'m not mistaken, your territory, and that man just died here.\'\' He said this while observing Dan\'s facial expression. It may seem like he actually saved them, but he might actually have caused more trouble.

Perhaps this fight, which would result in only one death, would escalate into a massive gang war. Behind the other side, there was also a mysterious item holder.

Dan raised his head and looked at his brothers. With serious looks on their faces, they were all attentively observing the two as they spoke. No sign of fear could be seen in their eyes; rather, it appeared as though a volcano of rage was about to erupt within them.
